BlockRay ("BlockRay", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what limited data we process, why, and the choices you have. We keep things deliberately minimal: we do not sell or share your data, and we use no advertising or third-party tracking.
Who we are
BlockRay is an on-chain analytics service. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), BlockRay acts as the data controller for the limited personal data described below.
What we process
- Public on-chain data. Our analytics are built from publicly available blockchain activity (wallet addresses, transactions, swaps, transfers). This information is public by design and is not provided by you.
- Account data (optional). If you sign in with a wallet in the app, we store your public wallet address and your watchlist so the product works. We never ask for, or hold, your private keys or seed phrase.
- Technical data. Standard server logs (e.g. IP address, browser type, timestamps) generated when you load the site, used for security, abuse prevention and reliability.
AI assistant ("Ask BRAY")
If you use the Ask BRAY assistant (in the app or via the demo on this site), we store for each question: the question text, the generated answer, the AI model used, the requester's IP address and a timestamp. In the app these are linked to your account (they power your chat history and monthly usage credits); the demo on this site is rate-limited per visitor by IP address and a session identifier. We keep this data for as long as needed for service operation, abuse prevention and usage accounting, then delete or anonymise it. Questions are processed by our AI infrastructure provider solely to generate the answer. Ask BRAY only interprets objective on-chain data - its output is not financial advice.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with any third party.
- We use no advertising networks, marketing trackers or third-party analytics.
- We do not build advertising profiles or attempt to identify you beyond what the product needs.
Why we process it (legal bases)
- Contract / legitimate interest - to provide the analytics, your account and watchlist.
- Legitimate interest - to keep the service secure, available and free from abuse.
Where your data is hosted
Our infrastructure and data are hosted on servers located within the European Union. We do not transfer your personal data outside the EU/EEA.
Retention
We keep account data for as long as your account exists, and technical logs only for as long as needed for security and operational purposes, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal data, and you may object to or restrict its processing. Because wallet sign-in is self-custodial, you can also stop using the account at any time. To exercise your rights, contact us through the official BlockRay channels linked in the footer.
